Trump Media merges with Crypto.com to set up ETFs to digital assets
The Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), the company behind Truth Social, merges with Crypto.com in order to introduce a number of stock markets traded (ETFs) and listed products (ETPS) via its fintech brand Truth.Fi.
This partnership, which is outlined in a non-binding agreement, aims to develop investment products that contain digital assets and securities that are bound to important US sectors, including energy.
The subsidiary of Crypto.com, Foris Capital US LLC, will monitor sales, while Crypto.com itself will provide the necessary infrastructure, custody solutions and cryptocurrency offers. The planned ETFs will contain a curated mixture of digital assets such as Bitcoin, Cronos and other cryptocurrencies.
It is expected that the initiative, subject to approval by the supervisory authorities, will be launched this year and that investors will reach the most important financial centers in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Devin Nunes, CEO and Chairman from TMTG, emphasized the importance of this project and explained that the goal was to offer investment products that focus on growth -strong companies, technological progress and the economic strength of the United States – free of unnecessary distractions and political influence.
