Charles Hoskinson indicates a partnership between Cardano and XRP

XRP and Cardano (ADA) are increasingly targeting investors. New speculations about Altcoin ETFs and a possible partnership between the blockchain projects ensure dynamics in the market.

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse expects ETFs for XRP, the introduction of ETFs, Solana and Cardano. At the same time, the integration of the Ripple-Stablecoins RLUSD speculates in Cardanos Midnight-Sidechain. In Switzerland, state post finance is following up and offers access to old coins such as XRP and ADA.

First ETFs on altcoins

While Bitcoin ETFs are already mobilizing billions of institutional capital, ETFs for old coins such as XRP and ADA are still pending. But according to Brad Garlinghouse, it is “just a matter of time” before Ethereum competitors can also jump on the ETF train. Analyst Nate Geraci from the ETF Institute confirms this assessment. Above all, the political climate in the United States under President Trump could reduce regulatory hurdles.

If the SEC adjusts its course, ETFs could trigger new flows to XRP and Cardano-similar to the Bitcoin ETF. The increasing institutionalization of the crypto market could also spread to old coins. Already in May the authority is likely to to permit.

Ripple and Cardano: Cooperation to strengthen both networks

According to industry reports, Brad Garlinghouse (Ripple) and Charles Hoskinson (Cardano) have discussions about a strategic alliance. The aim is to bring the ripple stable coin rlusd to Cardanos Midnight-Sidechain. This sidechain is focused on data protection and could open up new use cases by RLUSD.

A potential milestone in the crypto collaboration is emerging: According to Charles Hoskinson, there have already been talks with Ripple-CEO Brad Garlinghouse and CTO David Schwartz about the integration of the Ripple stable coins RLUSD in Midnight. The data protection-focused Layer 2 solution could benefit significantly from a stable, interoperable means of payment.

In addition, Hoskinson thinks of integrating XRP as a native token in Midnight – in addition to the existing tokens Night and Dust. Hoskinson even sees RLUSD and XRP more use potential than in the in-house token ADA, especially in Cardanos Smart-Contract platform Marlowe.
